Interested in hiding a geocache for YYCCAR24?

We are actively looking for geocache owners, and have resources and knowledge available.

We have people ready to assist and mentor geocache hiders.
We have people willing to help construct geocaches who need ideas.
We have people with ideas who need help constructing geocaches.


Geocaches hidden for the YYCCAR24 event are submitted as usual through geocaching.com.
Please note the following guidelines:

  • Geocaches should have the word YYCCAR24 in the name.
  • Geocaches should not be listed as "Premium-Only".
  • Geocaches must remain available for at least 3 months past the end of the event.
  • In the cache description please include the phrase:

    "This cache was placed for the YYCCAR24 event with the intention that it not be found prior to Saturday June 1, 2024 @ 10am"

  • In the notes to the reviewer please let the reviewer know that the cache is hidden for the YYCCAR24 event, June 1-2, 2024.

    • As in previous years we are encouraging geocache owners to consider refreshing existing caches with new containers and new experiences.

    Come wrap up the YYCCAR23 weekend with us @ North Glenmore Park.
    We will be collecting reusable water bottles and insulated mugs for the Mustard Seed of Calgary
